I miss running.
It has been over a week – or nearly two?? – since I’ve hit the pavement. And I’ve grumbled enough about the blasted snow… now I’m just sad. I miss it.
And I’m getting nervous because in one week I am running the Gladiator race. It’s gonna be awesome and I have no doubt that I’m strong enough for this race, but it’s certainly not encouraging to have so few runs in before hand.
With that in mind, this week’s motivation is about starting, committing and finishing, and discovering freedom in that journey. And really, this week I needed some simple reminders why I love running, why I’m passionate about my health, why I’m strong enough. I’ve got some work and preparation to do in these final days, so I’m ready to pound out a great week and an awesome race!
